1. Respect for rights

We do not authorize users to infringe copyright. Users must have rights, permission or another lawful basis for their use. Attribution alone is not permission. We consider applicable exceptions such as fair use; not every use of someone else’s material is infringement.

2. Send a copyright report

Contact SocialBoard at support@socialboard.app. The service is provided under the SocialBoard name, based in United States.

Email your request

For a US DMCA notice, provide:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature as the rights holder or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list for multiple works.
  3. The specific allegedly infringing material and information sufficient to locate it on SocialBoard: a shared URL, feed/post/item identifier and relevant source URL where available.
  4. Your name and contact information, including address, telephone number and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the complained-of use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

For other jurisdictions, identify the applicable rights and give equivalent details sufficient to assess your complaint. Do not submit knowingly false claims. A report may be forwarded to the affected user, including identifying and contact information required for the process. Do not send passwords, tokens or unnecessary sensitive attachments.

3. What happens next

We review reports, seek clarification when necessary and act expeditiously on valid notices by removing or disabling access as required. We notify the affected user where permitted and keep a record of the decision. Acknowledging a complaint does not decide ownership or concede liability. We may take action on independently identified infringement where legally required.

4. US DMCA counter-notices

If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification under the US DMCA, send a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found), and a statement that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the complainant. Where the statutory process applies, material may be restored after 10–14 business days following receipt unless we receive notice that the complainant filed an action seeking a court order, or another lawful basis prevents restoration. Counter-notices are legal submissions; consider obtaining legal advice before sending one.

5. Repeat infringement

We maintain records of substantiated infringement and terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We consider reversals, valid counter-notices, serious violations and relevant context. We do not treat an unsubstantiated report alone as proof of infringement.

6. Copyright contact

Use the contact above for reports and copyright correspondence.
