1. Make your request
In the app, open Profile → Privacy & safety → Request account deletion. Confirm the request to place it in the operator’s processing queue. A pending receipt is not confirmation of completed deletion.
Without the app, email the address below from the email registered to your SocialBoard account where possible. Use the subject SocialBoard account deletion and say that you want your account and associated data deleted. If you cannot access the registered address, explain that so we can arrange a proportionate identity check.
Email your requestDeletion requests: delete@socialboard.app.
Contact SocialBoard at support@socialboard.app. The service is provided under the SocialBoard name, based in United States.
No password, sign-in code, identity document or payment information is required in your initial request. An email link opens your mail app; you must send the message to submit the request. If that does not work, copy the displayed address into your email service. This page does not silently submit or confirm deletion.
2. What is deleted
After verifying account ownership, we delete your account and associated profile, saved links, uploaded originals, converted media and previews, notes, tags, organizational data, session and push registrations, and associated processing data from active systems. Owned shared feeds and contributions linked to your account are withdrawn during deletion. Independently saved copies and lawful retention exceptions are assessed individually and explained to you. Minimal non-content identifiers may remain as protocol tombstones to prevent removed data from reappearing; they do not retain your login, profile, notes or media. We also request applicable deletion from service providers.
You may request deletion of specific data while keeping your account. Identify the items or data categories in the message.
3. What may be retained
Automatic diagnostics are retained for up to 14 days. Service access logs rotate in a buffer of up to 30 MiB per application container, with lifetime depending on traffic volume; restricted local backups follow a rolling retention schedule of 30 days, with daily expiration checks. Limited records may be retained longer for specific legal obligations, security, fraud prevention or unresolved disputes, with access limited to those purposes. Copies independently held by recipients or original platforms cannot be recalled by SocialBoard. We explain applicable exceptions when responding.
4. Timing and confirmation
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and comply with applicable legal deadlines. We tell you if clarification, an extension or a lawful retention exception applies, and confirm completion. Deletion is permanent; account deactivation is not a substitute. Cancel any active subscription with its billing provider separately; cancellation is not a condition for requesting deletion.
See the Privacy Policy’s retention section for more information.
